FIRST INFORMATION SEMINAR

On 18.02.2016, at the People’s Community Center "Prosveta - 1927" in the village of Priseltsi, Avren municipality, Varna district, was held an information seminar on the topic "The process of creating and establishing of LAG"Avren – Beloslav" and funding opportunities for multi-fund strategy 2014 - 2020" for promoting the process of developing the strategy for a project under sub-measure 19.1"Help for preparatory activities"of measure 19"Community-led local development"of the Programme for rural development for the period 2014-2020, supported by the European agricultural Fund for rural development (EAFRD) of the European Union on the territory of Avren Municipality, Varna District.
Presented was the approach Community-led local development: manner of implementation, characteristics of multi-funding, as well as main objectives of the preparatory measure – gaining skills and building capacity for operation of LAGs in the 2014-2020 programming period; informing the local community and involving local people in the development and future implementation of the strategy on the CLLD approach; preparation of local development Strategy financed by the EAFRD or by multi-funding (OPIC, EE, HRD, SESG).
The identified during the meetings potential beneficiaries and stakeholders were informed about subsequent events and trainings ahead.
