On 12/02/2020 Mrs. Denitsa Todorova - Deputy. Mayor of the Municipality of Beloslav and Chairman of the Management Board of the LАG Avren - Beloslav signed a Grant Contract for the implementation of the Digital Local Initiative Groups project.
The Avren-Beloslav LAG project, approved by the Managing Authority of the Rural Development Program, receives funding under measure 19.3 “Preparation and implementation of cooperation activities for local action groups” from measure 19 “Community-led local development” under Rural Development Program 2014-2020

Within the next 7 months, activities will be carried out aimed at preparing and developing a project for intra-territorial and transnational cooperation "Digital LAGs", which will help to develop territorial cooperation in the territory of the Avren-Beloslav LAG with local action groups from other European countries to share experiences and good practices to enhance the competitiveness of the local economy by developing an innovative form of active local communication and transnational level combining information technology and social communication. The exchange of experience and good practices between local communities from different EU Member States will contribute to the sustainable and integrated development of Avren-Beloslav LAGs in order to ensure a better quality of life, preservation of natural and cultural heritage and the development of local potential.

The associated partner for this project is Asparuhovo-Beloslav-Aksakovo FLAG, and potential partners are similar local Lithuania initiative groups (Birzai LAG and Penevezis LAG and other EU countries).

The project will be funded under the Rural Development Program by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
